I was commissioned by the owners to make
paintings for a beautiful new home in
Truro. I wanted to make the kind of
work that would sustain the harmony
between the expansive interior space and
the majestic natural setting. For the
best use of placement and scale I
carefully determined the size of each
painting and how and where each would
hang. The paintings were inspired by
the view through the large windows of
the bay, the dunes and the changing
light and sky. The paintings are
windows as well --- windows that express
a colorful experience of joy in the
beauty of nature and in the comfort of
home.
